There’s a new version of VMWare Windows emulation software available for download.
Now with a free 12-month subscription to anti-virus software.
Viruses are so prevalent on Windows that *emulators* have to deal with it too?
Shocked and appalled.

My first iPhone project, Flick NBA Basketball, now shipping! View on Freeverse.com (dead link)
My goodness it’s fun to work on the iPhone. It’s amusing to me, that my career started with Apple ][e’s and the iPhones are based on the same basic architecture (ARM processors). It also seems to separate the coders who actually care about resource (RAM, disk, etc) useage from the ones who just “splat” code.
Yup, there I is, “Lead Programmer.” Woo!
DNS is *not* the place to insert a search page, when an error occurs. There is a reason errors occur – to let the client computer know something is wrong. It is not simple to ‘guess’ that something is wrong since you idiots at Time warner cable and OpenDNS.org seem to think “oh, they must have typed something wrong.” No, I didn’t! And it shouldn’t be failing in the first place! It’s a perfectly valid lookup! Why your servers respond with fails for 3 out of 10 times for the same request is beyond my understanding!
Make that *twins*.
When I saw them on the sonogram, I started grinning like an idiot.
Big changes are coming.
Isn’t it a problem that the news media takes polls, then broadcasts that information, *before* an election? Doesn’t that mean you’re poisoning the voting pool by giving people a different idea of what will happen?
or, a more sinister example
does that sound *exactly* like the 2000 election?
